    Is there wifi and phone reception on boat sailing to bahamas?

    Ahoy Teena –

    Welcome again to our Panel! You will be pleased to know that there is Wi-Fi and telephone reception on all Disney Cruise Line ships. The last I sailed in March, there was a promotion for the first 50 MB of data free if you signed up on the day of embarkation. After that, various packages were offered with Connect@Sea, and I chose a plan that gave me an additional 100MB of data for $19.99 (which provided plenty of data for Facebook and email). Remember that your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App can connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi for no additional charge. You will need this App to help with cruise planning. Check with your cellular telephone carrier to find out international rates and if there are roaming fees. Your personal cell phone is probably the cheapest way to call out since the stateroom telephones have ship-to-shore fees which are very expensive and charged by the minute.
