    My wife's mother and I both have mobility problems. What do we need to do to qualify for the electric carts?

    Welcome to planDisney, Gordon!  We are glad you brought your question to us.

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here in just a few days!  We are happy to help you with all your questions so you'll be ready to dive right into the magic of the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

    Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent in all theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.  There is nothing you need to do to qualify -- any Guest in need of an ECV is welcome to rent one.  Keep in mind that ECVs cannot be removed from the rental location.  If you'll be visiting another theme park on the same day, simply present your receipt and pick up another ECV at the new location.

    If you think you may need an ECV outside of the theme parks, for instance at your resort hotel, you may want to check out some of the rental companies in the Orlando area that can provide length-of-stay rentals.  ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider and will drop off and pick up your rental from Bell Services at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
