Hi Roger,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is coming up, how exciting!
If your wife’s account is duplicated, there’s an easy way to fix that; you’ll simply delete one of the accounts. Before you do, you’ll want to triple confirm the account you’d like to keep. Most likely it’ll be the account that has your family’s
tickets and
Theme Park Reservations on it.
To confirm, I suggest going to her
My Disney Experience Account online, then checking “My Plans”. On that page, she should see her tickets and reservations if everything is linked up. This is the account she’ll want to keep.
Next, she’ll want to sign into her other account that she’s not keeping. Once she’s in, have her hover over the “My Disney Experience” tab in the upper right and select her name. She’ll see her character at the top of the next page and will want to select “Account Settings”. Finally, once she’s on the “Disney Account” page, she’ll scroll down to the bottom and select “Delete Account”.
If the above steps aren’t working for any reason, you can always connect with the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk! The Cast Members would be able to walk you through the process step by step if needed.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your upcoming trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
