Both my (and wife's) anniversary (30 years) and son's birthday fall in the month of our visit (but not during our visit.) Have booked a couple of special events (illuminations cruise etc...), but was wondering if there might be any other suggestions?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Lawrence!

You certainly have a lot to celebrate during your trip to Disney World! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up "Happy Birthday" & "I'm Celebrating" buttons.

To celebrate as a family, I'd recommend Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage or the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party.  Make sure you tell them about your celebrations when making your reservations.

I'm not sure how old your son is but click here for some suggestions to make a birthday special for your son.

If you want to schedule something romantic for just the two of you, book a horse drawn carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY. For something extra special for the two of you, dinner Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian is off the charts amazing!

When making any advanced dining reservations (ADRs), be sure to mention that you'll be celebrating a birthday & anniversary. Dinner at California Grill timed to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom rocks!  You can order speciality cakes by calling 407-827-2253.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
