My wife and I and our 2 kids are coming to the magic kingdom August 6th. My son is 2 years old and may need a nap mid day. Am I permitted to leave the park for a few hours and re enter?

    Hey there, Ken!

Having a midday break was a must for our family when my Pirate and Princess were younger. This always saved us from a midday meltdown in the Magic Kingdom!

Thankfully, you will be allowed to exit and re-enter the park as many times as you require within the same day. Upon re-entering the park, just tap your card or MagicBand! Also, if you plan to drive and park at the Ticket and Transportation Center, you'll only need to pay for parking once that day. When you return to continue the magic, just show the Cast Member your parking receipt.

Thanks for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Wishing you magic and memories on your upcoming Disney vacation!
