My wife, 7 year old daughter and I will be traveling with my mother-in-law in early October to DisneyWorld. We prefer to stay onsite at a resort hotel. We prefer to have 2 bedroom suite. What/where do you suggest?

    Hi Scott,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love trips with grandparents. We have the best memories from our trips with the girls' grandparents.

For two-bedroom suite options, try the Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels. Although our first trip with grandparents included a stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, we now prefer the resorts with access to the Resort Monorail. Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows along with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa all have access to the resort monorail.

When we stayed at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, we had a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The suite also had a washer and dryer that we used three times during our weeklong stay. My family also enjoys staying at Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resorts because of the fabulous amenities, especially the dining options. When we stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, we love Chef Mickey's and, at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we adore 'Ohana.

Scott, if you decide to forego the two-bedroom suite but still need something more than a standard room, try one of the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
