my wife is in a wheel chair and I was wondering what the current ride restrictions and handicap entrances are like

Well, hello there, Frank, and welcome to planDisney! I am so happy to see that you have decided to stop by with your question.

Your magical Disney vacation is fast approaching... how exciting! I'm thrilled that you will be visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Resort during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which will run from March 2 to July 4, 2022. I have been lucky enough to experience this festival with my boyfriend, and I can tell you it's so much fun to experience with a significant other. If you and your wife are foodies, make sure to stop by some of the event-exclusive Outdoor Kitchens, featuring specialty menus from all around the world. And if you love sightseeing and taking pictures, I'm sure you will love all the topiaries, exhibits and gardens starring some of your favorite Disney pals!

Frank, navigating the Walt Disney World Resort in a wheelchair is as easy as can be! That being said, attraction accessibility is different depending on the ride vehicles themselves. For example, your wife will be able to remain in her wheelchair for the duration of some attractions and experiences, but she will need to transfer from her wheelchair to the ride vehicle for others. I encourage you to take a quick peek at the Attraction Access Categories and Services for Guests with Disabilities pages so that you may plan your itinerary in advance.

Thank you so much for stopping by, Frank. I wish you and your wife the most magical vacation on Earth at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Until next time,
