    Hello, my wife and I are wanting to schedule a trip and was wondering when is the least expensive time's to do this. Also how many times a year do wdw offer free dining.

    Hi there Larry,  

    Disney World announces special deals and promotions frequently throughout the year, but it is virtually impossible for us to predict the dates and details of such offers.  They are usually spur of the moment and really follow no rhyme or reason.  I can tell you that Free Dining is usually offered a few times a year but there is guarantee that history will repeat itself this year!  

    My best advice is to keep a close eye on the Walt Disney World Special Offers page of the official website!  This is the best place to track down special offers once they have been announced.  I always go ahead and lock in my vacation as soon as possible in hopes of securing a special promotion once one is announced. The friendly folks at the Walt Disney Travel Company can help you modify your existing reservation in order to take advantage of a special offer that may become available!  Booking now, ensures availability for your preferred dates at the resort of your choice and you can relax knowing that if a deal is announced, you can still take advantage of it at a later time!

    Rates greatly fluctuate throughout the year and I have personally noticed that holiday and peak pricing can be a bit higher then off peak.  My favorite time to travel is early November and early January.  Please feel free to write back with any follow ups!  I am happy to answer any questions!
