Britton from UT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Me and my wife are wanting to book a trip for June 21, but we are from out of state. If we are both fully vaccinated are we able to come or do we need to wait until the resident only restriction is lifted?

    Bright Suns, Britton!

So glad that you’ve made the jump to hyperspace and blasted over to planDisney! As Obi-Wan would say, "This IS the website you're looking for” when planning a visit to Disneyland Resort.

While we are all super excited about the reopening of Disneyland Resort, this is what we call a phased reopening, following state and local regulations. For the foreseeable future, admission will be only for California residents. So you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to give the state of California time to extend the welcome to out-of-state Guests like yourself. Once out-of-state residents can travel to Disneyland Resort, be sure to get both your theme park tickets and Theme Park Reservations for the days you’d like to spend in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

I know this is not quite the news you hoped to hear, but it’s understandable given the health and safety reasons for controlling the scope of the initial access and make sure that Disneyland's phased reopening is successful. Then that will mean that Disneyland Resort can consider reopening to include Guests from other states sooner!

To keep tabs on the latest updates, follow the Disney Parks Blog and the Disneyland Resort website. Maybe this will give you “A New Hope” that the Happiest Place on Earth will be wide open to the whole galaxy very soon! And feel free to use the Force and summon us at planDisney. As Obi-Wan would say, “We will be with you, ALWAYS!”
