My wife and I will be visiting the park in December, 2013; it's been a few years since our last visit. I'm 67 and my wife is 63. We are not limited in our mobility, but still are interested in what "in-the-park" transportation may be available

    Hi there David,

It's great that you are not limited in your mobility! I would suggest going to the website and taking a look at all of the transportation available at the various parks. Just off the top of my head, at Magic Kingdom, you will have the opportunity to use the same Walt Disney World Railroad train that you probably went on the last time you were there. The train has three stops (Main Street USA, Frontierland, and Fantasyland) traveling around the perimeter of the park. At Epcot you can load up on one of the boats and ride to the other side of the World Showcase lagoon. There aren't any other types of transportation found inside the other theme parks, so prepare for lots of walking. You do have great transportation around the entire Walt Disney World Resort. I suggest packing comfortable shoes and take lots of breaks!

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a wonderful day!
