Hello, My wife and I are to visit Disneyland in Ca and we would like to make our trip magical by making our baby announcement at Disneyland but would to ask if a photo excursion is possible or, who can speak with to prepare for this upcoming day Thank you

Hi there, Edgar! Welcome to planDisney. First and foremost, congratulations to you and your wife! I am over the moon excited for you both and the journey of parenthood ahead. You are in for the "wildest ride in the wilderness" in the best way possible! I would be honored to help you make this baby announcement possible and practically perfect in every way. Let's get started!

The Disneyland Mobile App is going to be your go-to for finding a Disney PhotoPass photographer. Simply open the app and tap the search (magnifying glass) button. Type in "Disney's PhotoPass Service" and tap "Find on Map" to see where Disneyland's PhotoPass photographers will be posted and ready to take your photos.

Once you've found a PhotoPass photographer at your desired spot, let them know that you're doing a baby announcement. Disney PhotoPass has offered a "Photo Excursion" experience in the past, featuring a short photo shoot with a photographer in one of the lands. Since offerings can change, the best way to check is by speaking with a PhotoPass photographer during your visit. If this experience is no longer available, do not fear! PhotoPass photographers are typically generous with the number of photos they take, helping make this special moment even more magical.

While you're in the parks, may I suggest using keepsakes that can also double as photo props? Pop into the Mad Hatter along the right side of Main Street, U.S.A., to get a personalized embroidered ear hat with the words "Baby ___" using your last name. We got one for my son's first visit to Disneyland, and we love displaying it on a floating shelf at home. You can even pose with it near "it's a small world," where the pastel-colored wall makes for a sweet and charming photo backdrop.

If you arrive at Disneyland early, I highly recommend stopping by Plaza Point, located near Plaza Inn. They offer beautiful ornaments that can be personalized, including adding your baby's due date. My husband and I started a tradition of choosing a personalized ornament each year when we got married, and it has been so special watching our collection grow along with our family. We even created one to celebrate our baby announcement, and it still brings a huge smile to my face every time I take it out.

Edgar, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope your baby announcement is filled with happy tears, big smiles, and a little extra pixie dust. This is such a magical way to kick off the greatest adventure yet. If you have any more questions along the way, planDisney is always here to help!

With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
