Edwing, let me start by saying Congratulations to you and your wife on your recent nuptials! That's so exciting! And what better way to continue the celebration than by visiting
The Most Magical Place On Earth!
I’m happy to inform you two things, first, that you are able to verify your residency online. When purchasing your ticket or annual pass, you will fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form when checking out. Once you have verified your residency, you can head straight to the parks without stopping at Guest Relations! However, as the old saying goes, “Happy wife, happy life”, so I suggest you escort your bride to Guest Relations where she will need to provide proof of residency before being able to purchase her ticket/pass. Acceptable documents, in addition to a valid picture ID (license, passport, state ID card), include things like a monthly mortgage statement, homeowner’s insurance policy or bill, current utility bill, or current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill. Additional examples to use as proof of residence are
available here.
Now that we have that out of the way let me recommend a couple of ways you can continue to enjoy that newlywed bliss. One of my favorite places to enjoy a date with my wife is the
Enchanted Rose at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. They have delicious craft cocktails and appetizers; I can’t pass on the House-made Truffle Fries. When you finish, you can take the monorail to
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to enjoy
Happily Ever After from the beach. The music from the Magic Kingdom is played to match the show, and the fireworks look fantastic while overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. But if you would rather enjoy the show from inside the park, you could indulge in one of the
Enchanting Extras, specifically the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets.
I hope this answers your question and helps you keep the honeymoon going!
Thanks,
Brent
