Hello there, fellow Ryan, and welcome to
planDisney!
Walt Disney World Resort prides itself on being a place where
everyone can experience a magical vacation! Indeed, there is an entire team at
Disability Services dedicated to helping Guests access the various options and services they may need during their trip.
Accommodating unique mobility needs is something that truly is baked in to almost every aspect of the Walt Disney World Resort. From
wheelchair and
ECV rentals at all Theme Parks to wheelchair-accessible buses, attractions,
Resort hotel rooms, and more, your wife should expect an exceptionally accessible visit. You can also
always speak to any Cast Member to get assistance or additional information during your visit.
You may have also heard about the
Disability Access Service (DAS). This service is primarily for Guests with other
non-mobility needs, but you are welcome to learn more and see if it is a resource your crew might need.
I hope this information is helpful to you. As you continue planning for your upcoming vacation,
please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help! You're visiting during the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, full of exciting entertainment, new attractions, food, and so much more. There is so much to experience, and I'm really glad you're planning ahead, Ryan!
