Welcome to planDisney, Dennis! Over the last few years, my wife and I have experienced the joy of seeing the magic of
Walt Disney World through the young eyes of our children. I have my own adventurous little princess and Walt Disney World is certainly her happy place. There's nothing quite like seeing the smile on her face when she catches that first glimpse of
Cinderella Castle. I'm sure you're all in for an enchanting time as a family.
Since you have Theme Park tickets for four days, you're going to want to make Park
reservations. As it's the
50th Anniversary Celebration, I'd suggest experiencing each Park in all its EARidescent glory. There is a
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, which will help you see which Parks have availability during your visit. I'd also recommend staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. There are so many incredible
benefits to staying on property that'll truly maximize the magic of your vacation. The new (free)
Disney Genie service will also help you plan your itinerary, taking into consideration what is important to you and your family. Personally, I'd recommend paying for Disney Genie+ so that you can make
Lightning Lane selections and get on more attractions.
If you'd like some personal recommendations, make sure you watch both nighttime spectaculars,
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious. Here's a tip: for a great viewing spot, watch Harmonious from the Italy pavilion in
EPCOT. You're also going to want to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance,
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and
Avatar Flight of Passage. Catch a parade on Main Street, USA, get a family photo in front of Cinderella Castle, treat your taste buds at one of the many amazing
restaurants on property. But above all: in the midst of all of the fun and busyness, schedule time to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Dennis, if you have any follow-up questions, feel free to
reach out to me.
ChEARS,
Mike
