My wife and I are traveling from Wisconsin and will be taking our 2 nieces ages 5 and 10. We are staying in a 1 bedroom villa at the Wilderness Lodge in Feb. How do we make room location request, any suggestions for groceries inc. alch. beverages?

    Hi Wayne,

Your nieces are in for a magical vacation and seeing Disney through their eyes will be absolutely memorable!

The villas at the Wilderness Lodge are absolutely charming. Room requests can be made by calling your travel agent or 407-W-DISNEY to have your request placed on your reservation. Any modifications including requests must be placed over the phone.

For groceries, you may want to visit www.gardengrocer.com. They'll have your items waiting for you upon your arrival!

Goodings at the Crossroads Shopping Center would be a short taxi ride. Their prices tend to be a little bit higher then the Publix grocery store just up the road. There is a Walmart Super Center and Super Target within driving distance as well.

Also, you can grab some groceries at your resort store. The Mercantile at the Wilderness Lodge has a selection of basic groceries (including alcohol) geared guests staying in the villas. Of course, prices are more expensive than your local grocery store but it's extremely convenient. You'll even find a selection of frozen items.

You can find a list of addresses for all of these stores at www.AllEars.Net. From the home page, click on Search and then enter the term "grocery". You'll get some helpful pages to click on.

Enjoy a wonderful visit to WDW!
