Hi Peg!
How exciting! Walt Disney World is the best vacation destination for a honeymoon.
My first suggestion is a
private Fireworks Cruise. My husband and I did this on the night he proposed and it was incredibly romantic. Your private pontoon driver will take you around the water you'll drop anchor for a fabulous viewing of the fireworks. These cruises are offered for the fireworks at Magic Kingdom or at Epcot. For a romantic activity that will cost you absolutely nothing, take a stroll around
Disney Springs in the evening. You'll find live musicians throughout. Grab ice cream or cupcake from one of the sweet shops and walk along the water.
Dinner at California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is prime for a romantic dinner. The restaurant sits atop the Resort with beautiful views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom. When it's time for the fireworks, head out onto the catwalk for an outdoor viewing. For a more budget-friendly option, my husband and I love
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort for date nights. It's an old-fashioned soda fountain with delicious comfort food. Share a plate of chili cheese fries, a grilled cheese and one of their ice cream creations with two spoons.
There are tons of beautiful wedding/honeymoon related souvenirs. The bride and groom ear hats are the perfect way to celebrate while on a Disney vacation! Stop in Disney's Days of Christmas at Disney Springs for a personalized Minnie and Mickey bride and groom ornament. That is my favorite souvenir from our wedding! You'll find etched picture frames and champagne flutes at Aribbas Brothers.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
