My wife and I will be traveling to Disney World in September for our one year anniversary. I would like to do something special for her. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I have read some mixed reviews about the Sweetheart Dinner for Two.

Philip, I would highly recommend trying to book one of the many great fireworks cruises to celebrate your anniversary while at Walt Disney World!  You can choose from one of the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon to watch the Magic Kingdom shoe or you can book a cruise out of the Yacht Club Marina and watch Illuminations in EPCOT. Both are fabulous and you will have the boat to yourself with a captain.  When we do this we often arrange to have a cake or champagne and strawberries delivered to the boat before you depart. You can do this by calling private dining from the resort where you have the reservation. There is more you can choose from and you can certainly add such things as balloon to make it even more festive.  The Disney florist can also deliver special surprises as well and you can talk to a Dream Maker there by calling 407-827-3505.

For a special dinner I love Citricos over at the Grand Floridian. It has a quiet atmosphere especially if you can be seated in the main dining area. Again you can arrange to have flowers or special cakes delivered to your table to surprise your wife. The Disney cast is there to make dreams come true!
