wife & I took 5 yr. old son to DW 3/08 stayed at the CBR & ended up far far away from food bldg. Taking son and 1 yr. old dghtr 7/09 and looking to stay at Polynesian, is this as spread out as CBR? Should we expect long long lines?

Hi, Mike!   Glad to hear you are bringing your family back for some more Disney Magic!

Polynesian is a beautiful resort.   While it is large and spread out, the walk from far away buildings is not as long as Caribbean Beach.   If convenience is important to you, request a building close to the Great Ceremonial House where you will catch the monorail, find several dining choices, and close to the main pool.   My family really likes staying in Rarotonga;   Niue is also a nice location.

July is a very busy month at Disney with kids being out of school.   An advantage of staying at Polynesian is you can get a really early start at Magic Kingdom and Epcot with the great monorail access that is available.   Get your days started early to avoid crowds and take a mid-day break at your awesome resort!  Don't forget your refillable water bottles and sunscreen.   Have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
