    My wife and I took her parents to WDW a few years back - they are not tech savvy, so she set up MDE with her email and his info so we could share plans. Now planning a trip, and her MDE still lists his info. How can we change this to be hers?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question! I love using the My Disney Experience mobile app to plan my visits, but it can sometimes be a bit challenging. However, that is what we're here for, and I am happy to share all my tips and tricks with you so that you can have the best vacation ever.

    If you can access the My Disney Experience account, you will be able to change most of the information in the main account. Indeed, all you have to do is hover your cursor over the My Disney Experience tab and click on "My Profile" under their name. Then, click on "Account Settings," and you will be able to change the name of the profile, the date of birth, the main address linked to the account, the phone number, etc. Should you want to, you will even be able to edit the email address used. Otherwise, you can also create another profile for them through the "Family & Friends List" and link all reservations and theme park tickets to that profile specifically. Selecting a character helps when trying to find the right profile among many, so I recommend that you also pick a character in the "My Profile" section! As always, if you need help with any of these steps, don't hesitate to reach out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. They will also be able to help if you have any reservations that need to be linked to this account! 

    Once you have corrected the My Disney Experience profile, I highly recommend that you download the My Disney Experience mobile app on your smartphone. The mobile app makes your visits to the theme parks much more convenient as you always have access to your itinerary and can always modify your plans or make new ones! I always use the Mobile Food and Beverage Orders as they save you so much time and don't require you to wait in line. Similarly, I love using the Direct-to-Room service, including the online check-in feature, which alerts you when your room is ready. If you have an iPhone or an Android smartphone equipped with Google Pay, you can even unlock your door without stopping by the front desk! The mobile app makes travelling to the Walt Disney World Resort so much more convenient, and I hope you can use some of its new features on your next vacation.
