I want to take my wife and three year old daughter to Disney for a family vacation. Are we better off doing the parks every other day will it be too much to go everyday? I don't know what to expect I went when I was young and do not remember.

    Hi Jared,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love that you are beginning to plan for a vacation to Walt Disney World with your wife and young daughter. It is so amazing to see the magic of Walt Disney World through the eyes of a young child!

It is good that you are thinking about how to organize your vacation, especially based on your young daughter. There is so much to do at the Walt Disney World theme parks that it can get very stimulating and tiring for preschoolers. I think that building in down time is important. For my family, it worked very well to go to a theme park every day in the morning, and then to head back to our resort for a rest in the afternoon and then possibly the pool or dinner out at night. For some families, spending a couple of days in the theme parks followed by a less energetic day at the resort works well. Your plan to do one day at a theme park and then one day outside of a theme park should work well. There is so much to do around Walt Disney World that I am sure you will be able to fill your non-park days with fun as well.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jared. Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
