My wife and i are thinking of staying at the French Quarter next time we go to DIsney. Do they have their own bus, or is it shared with another resort?

    Hi Donny,

I love the Port Orleans French Quarter resort. It is a favorite, especially when my husband and I are traveling to Walt Disney World alone. I like the small, intimate feel of the resort and think it has a more adult atmosphere.

The answer to your question is sometimes. Often, the French Quarter has its own bus, but during less busy times of the year or certain times of the day, it may share with its adjacent sister resort, Port Orleans Riverside. The good news is that the French Quarter resort has a single bus stop, and even in the times when it does share, the buses tend to pick up at French Quarter before moving on to Riverside. And French Quarter is usually the first stop for a shared return bus.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Make sure you have the hot beignets they serve in the food court at Port Orleans French Quarter. Enjoy!
