My wife and I were thinking of going to the Epcot food and wine festival for a weekend trip for just us. We also thought we could do the Boo to You event is possible. If there a weekend that has the food and Boo to You in the same weekend?

Hey Josh! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love fall at Walt Disney World Resort with temperatures still warm and lines for attractions shorter than the summer months. You and your wife are picking a fantastic time to visit! The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is a celebration of the world nations for your mouth. With over 25 food booths taking temporary residence around Epcot’s World Showcase, your tastebuds are destined for a wild ride.

September through Halloween, the Magic Kingdom Park is draped in pumpkins, scarecrows and other fall festive delights. The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not just for kids! Dress up as your favorite Disney personality and trick-or-treat your way through the entire park. With spooky Disney Villain dance parties, special character meet and greats and candy trails aplenty, this is a party that will surely raise spirits. Watch out for the Headless Horseman and Hitch Hiking Ghosts (Phineas, Ezra and Gus) during the Boo to You! parade. The best place to view the the parade is along the wooded walkway in Frontierland or just in front of the Hall of Presidents attraction.

I use online crowd calendars (touringplans.com and undercovertourist.com) to help me choose the best dates to travel to Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, I would suggest the last week in September to have manageable crowds and fun!

Visiting both the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in one weekend will be a super sweet spooky food frenzy! So get your daft disguises and taste buds ready to enjoy your adult Disney Side.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
