    My wife is a teacher, and I am a school counselor, so we really can't visit during the "down" periods. She also coaches high school softball, which can carry into the first weeks of June. Are there certain times in the summer that are better? T

    Hello, Stephen!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

    I was a teacher for eighteen years and I can certainly understand your situation.  Unfortunately for you, the best time to travel to Walt Disney World during the summer months is during the first two weeks in June. After that, the parks will be crowded throughout the summer months.  However, I highly suggest avoiding the July 4th week/end.  If it is possible, the first or second week of August is a good time.  The good news is that with the new Magic Bands, securing your spot in line for many of the popular attractions has never been easier.  You can select 3 attractions per day for one park right from your home computer or smartphone.   Well, that is a whole other area that you can ask us about once you are ready to plan your days.
