Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question. First, how exciting that you are bringing your 23-month-old twins to Walt Disney World! And having family along for the adventure makes it even more special. This definitely sounds like one of those core-memory trips in the making.
So, Peter, let’s jump right into your question. There is so much for your
little ones to do at Disney World, from attractions and shows to Character meet-and-greets and even some play areas where they can get out some of those toddler wiggles. Trust me, you will not run out of things to do!
First and foremost, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience app before your visit. This will be your best friend throughout the day. You can check attractions wait times, find Character experiences, see parade and fireworks times, and so much more. You will also find plenty of attractions
without a height requirement, which means your twins can enjoy them right along with the rest of the family.
When my girls were little, and honestly even now, they had favorite things they wanted to do in every park.
At Hollywood Studios, my girls love
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. And with little ones, you cannot forget Disney Junior fun; it is perfect for their age range.
Toy Story Mania! is another family favorite and has no height requirement.
Over at EPCOT, my girls could never get enough of Figment on Journey Into Imagination with Figment or riding Spaceship Earth. They still love them!
Journey of Water, inspired by Moana, is also such a fun place for little ones to explore. And definitely stop by The Seas with Nemo & Friends. After the attraction, you can spend some time exploring the huge aquarium inside, which also happens to be a wonderful place to cool off from that Florida sun.
At Animal Kingdom, there is so much to see just walking around the park. Kilimanjaro Safaris is always a must-do for my family, an
d Festival of the Lion King is one of my absolute favorite shows in all of Disney World. Also, don’t forget to visit
Bluey over at the Conservation Station. Between the animals, entertainment, and trails to explore, there is plenty to keep little adventurers busy.
And then, of course, there is Magic Kingdom! This park is filled with attractions your twins can enjoy! Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It’s a Small World, and Pirates of the Caribbean are just a few of my girls’ favorites. There really is something magical about watching Disney through your children’s eyes at this age.
Peter, my biggest piece of advice is not to overplan. Have a few must-dos, but leave room for naps, snack breaks, wandering, and those completely unexpected moments. Sometimes it is the moment you never planned that ends up being the one you remember the most.
