My wife and I are taking our first trip to Disneyland in June. We are considering the Good Neighbor Hotels and the Anabella. There are so many different rooms at that resort, what would you recommend for a romantic getaway weekend?

    Hey there Stacey,

I have stayed at the Anabella many times and quite honestly find it to be the most conveniently located hotel outside of the Disneyland Resort.  This beautifully landscaped property is located just across the street from Disney's Paradise Pier and is just a short stroll from Downtown Disney and the both parks!

When I stay at the Anabella I ALWAYS upgrade to either a Mission Suite or a Premier Room because I find these rooms to be the most updated and ideally located within the hotel. I have a daughter and the Mission Suite is nice because it has a separate room with a day bed which is perfect for her!

Since your traveling just the two of you, I highly recommend upgrading to one of the Club Anabella Concierge Rooms.  These rooms are really beautiful and feature hardwood floors and patios!  They are huge rooms and since you won't be needing the extra bedroom, I think you'll really prefer the extra amenities!  The price difference between the Club Rooms and the Mission Suites is usually minimal, but worth it in my opinion!

If you do choose a Mission Suite or Premier Room, I recommend requesting a ground floor with patio, as the ground rooms have hardwood floors.  I also recommend requesting a room near the front of the property for easy access to Disneyland!

    Best Wishes,
