My wife and I are staying at the Poly in August. We have a lagoon view with a request for the Tahiti Longhouse. Will I not be able to see the MK fireworks from my room, or do I have to upgrade to a MK view? If so, do I upgrade now or ask for free later?

    Hello Raymond,

I just got back from a fantastic stay at the Polynesia Resort! My family had a garden view inside the Tahiti Longhouse and we loved it! Not only are you close to the Transportation and Ticket Center, but the beach Longhouse is along the beach - perfect for a lovely evening. While I did not have a room with a lagoon view, I believe you would have a great view of the Magic Kingdom from anywhere along the water of the Tahiti Longhouse. And even if you had a little obstruction, you could take a quick walk outside to lounge on a hammock. Watching the fireworks beneath the glow of the tiki torches is pretty spectacular as well!

    Enjoy your trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
