My wife and I will be staying at DWL Dec 1-6, 2011. We always stay at the club level. This year is the first time visiting DW with Christmas decorations. Can we enjoy our glass of wine in the lobby so to enjoy the holiday decorations instead of the 7th fl.

    Hi George!

I love the Wilderness Lodge Resort, especially around the Holidays!  Yes, you can have a glass of wine in the lobby and enjoy the Christmas decorations in the Lobby!  I will also let you know of another great place to relax in front of a secluded fireplace and enjoy the view of the magnificent Wilderness Lodge Lobby.  It is on the forth floor in the Lobby right above the Lobby entrance.  If you take the long staircase that is right in front of Whispering Canyon Cafe and then take a right at the top of the staircase, it will be on the right.  This fireplace sitting area has a few comfy chairs and a great view of the Lobby!

I hope that your Wilderness Lodge stay is warm, cozy, and filled with the Holiday spirit on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
