Wife and I are staying at Boardwalk and going on the Backstage Magic Tour. We are suppose to meet at the front of EPCOT for the start of the tour. Will we be able to enter in the International Gateway w/o a park ticket to get to the front of EPCOT? Thanks

    Hi there Daniel,

The International gateway entry into EPCOT is a bit of a shortcut, especially if you are staying at Disney's Boardwalk Inn.  Unfortunately, you will need to have a park ticket to enter through those gates, even if you are participating in a tour.

The best option for you is going to be to take a bus to the front of EPCOT and this will save you some walking time as well.  The bus drop off location is very close to the meeting area in front of Guest Relations and since the bus ride from The Boardwalk is a short one, I think this will actually be more convenient and time-efficient than walking from the International Gateway.

Hope you enjoy the Backstage Magic Tour!  It's really cool to get to view the "magic" from a behind the scenes perspective.  There are some surprises thrown in as well but I don't want to spoil them for you!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
