Hi, my wife spent many hours planning to make our trip experience memorable in a few weeks. I want to give her a gift that she can use at WDW and/or great for a die-hard Disney woman - budget: up to $200. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  • Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eric! What a wonderful thought; a very happy little thought! This is sure to make your wife fly around London town with smiles and laughter. Just make sure she doesn’t float on up to Neverland before your your vacation is over!

If I had a lovely little budget like this to shop for a pixie-dusted prize, I would certainly consider a Disney Dooney & Bourke Purse. My husband gifted me a letter-carrier sized purse featuring all the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with a colorful zipper, and I get compliments on it all the time. Earlier this year, I purchased a Mary Poppins Dooney tote with my Dad to present to my Mom for her 60th birthday (This practically perfect character is her favorite). She adored it and dumped her purse out on the table, filling Mary up straight away. I know you will find the perfect themed bag for your wife, too!

You can find these spectacular Dooney & Bourke purses on Main Street, U.S.A in Magic Kingdom, or several other stores like World of Disney. If you want to save yourself some browsing time and shop in secret so your wife won’t know what you’re up to, download the Shop Disney Parks App and search for “Dooney!” This will bring up a myriad of bags in all shapes, sizes, prints and price ranges. You’re sure to find something perfect, and you can even have it shipped right to your home so that you can present it to her the day you embark on your vacation. Please let me know if I can help you with any other vacation needs. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
