    My wife and I will be spending the day at HS in Jan '13 and after fantasmic 7pm we would like to dine somewhere. EMH on that day but we are off property. Can we leave car at HS and take ferry to boardwalk have dinner and pick up car around 9:30pm? EMH 9pm

    Hi, Adrian!

    While the parking lots stay open about 2 hours after park closing, I suggest you take your car to dine at the BoardWalk.  The ferry will be running, but it can take up to 45 minutes to make the loop, so I would simply hop in my car at Hollywood Studios, park at the BoardWalk Inn, Yacht Club, or Beach Club (just tell security you are there for dinner).  You will really appreciate not being rushed to get back to your car or having to wait for a ferry or bus for a ride to the Studios.  Once your dinner is done and you've enjoyed the BoardWalk, just take the short walk back to your car and you can head to your resort.  I hope this helps!  Enjoy a delightful evening on the BoardWalk! 

    (By the way - some of my favorites near the Boardwalk:  Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club, the pizza window by the Boardwalk Inn, and Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.)
