My wife, son, & I have bought tickets to Disneyland, & we watched Disneyland behind the scenes about some of the attractions, I am starting to worry, because at 450lbs I might be too heavy for most rides & attractions. Are there weight limits?

    Hi, Theo!

Thanks for your question about the Disneyland Resort. I understand your concerns, but Guests of varying weights, sizes and shapes experience the resort's attractions every day. Attractions at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park don't have specific weight restrictions, but all Guests must be able to enter the ride vehicle and close their safety restraint before riding. The Disneyland Resort attractions offer a variety of safety devices and different seating configurations, from individual seats to bench seating, that are able to accommodate Guests of many sizes.

Additionally, the resort offers many exciting entertainment options that don't require getting on a ride, although you’ll still feel immersed in magic. Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room is a theater-in-the-round attraction that allows Guests to sing along with a lively collection of Audio-Animatronics exotic birds, flowers and tikis without stepping onto a moving vehicle. There is also a little-known alternate viewing area at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage so Guests who can’t navigate the narrow spiral staircase into the submarine can enjoy the experience from a special topside viewing room.

When you arrive, I suggest stopping at City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to speak with a Cast Member. They can assist you with assessing the accessibility and comfort of each attraction specific to your individual situation. However, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how much you’re able to experience in the parks.

I hope this helps, Theo. Please visit us again with more questions as your pixie-dusted vacation approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
