Hi there, Sriram, and welcome to planDisney! From one Georgian to another, I'm thrilled that you're about to head to the Most Magical Place on Earth and I couldn't be happier that you've stopped by with this great question.
Sriram, you'll be glad to hear that the Walt Disney World Resort
Park Rules don't specifically prohibit bringing original artwork to the parks. Here are two prohibited activities that you'll want to be sure you're aware of:
- "Unauthorized events, speeches, or use of any flag, banner, sign or other material for commercial purposes, or as part of a demonstration."
- "Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes."
Please keep in mind that you'll go through security before entering the park, so be prepared to open any kind of protective case or cover you have for the artwork. I do recommend ensuring you have something to protect the canvas because you never know when the Florida weather might change!
If you're a fan of great art, you should plan to stop by EPCOT, where you'll find the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. With thoughtfully designed dishes at
Food Studios, talented
artists and displays, and a
mural that you can help paint, there's something for all kinds of art lovers!
Sriram, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to count down to your arrival. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
