Bonjour Jeffrey!
A big welcome home from one Disney Vacation Club Member to another. As a UK-based DVC Member, I am lucky to live super close to
Disneyland Paris and enjoy lots of visits in between my family’s Walt Disney World trips. I have been lucky enough to visit all of the Disney Parks in the world and, in my opinion, Disneyland Park in Paris is the most beautiful of them all. As you know, the competition is pretty tough - I see you Animal Kingdom!
It sounds like you are planning a visit to Disneyland Paris in July, which is a fantastic time to go. The weather is usually lovely, and
Disney Adventure World will be open as part of the ongoing reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park. You will be able to experience World of Frozen, complete with a walking, talking Olaf animatronic roaming the land, as well as Frozen Ever After. You will also be able to explore Adventure Way and Adventure Bay, which will debut a brand new nighttime show called Disney Cascade of Lights featuring fireworks, water screen projections, and drone displays!
So how long should you stay? In my experience, the resort really needs a minimum of three full days, especially now that both Disney Parks will have nighttime spectaculars. I am very excited to see two nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Paris. My advice is to book a
Hotel + Ticket Package directly with Disneyland Paris, as this includes park hopper tickets for every day of your stay, access to Extra Magic Time one hour before the parks open each morning, and early access to booking
reserved viewing for
Disney Tales of Magic, the nighttime spectacular in Disneyland Park. It is a brilliant way to enjoy the show for the first time!
What should you not miss? There are so many unique experiences at Disneyland Paris in a setting that feels new yet familiar. Top recommendations include
Mickey and the Magician, Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure, Disney Stars on Parade, exploring Adventure Isle in Adventureland, and classic attractions with a twist, such as Crush’s Coaster, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, Hyperspace Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Tower of Terror.
I hope this helps as you start planning your adventure to France. I have included a tour I filmed with planDisney at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel to give you an idea of the accommodation available. If you have any further questions as you plan your trip, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help. Talking about Disneyland Paris is one of my favourite things to do!
See you on Main Street, Paris!
Matt
