Hey, howdy, hey, Garrett,
Yeehaw! How exciting that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort with your grandparents. Now, that sounds like a rootin', tootin' time! Let's go over a few things as you
round up your gang and ride like the wind toward The Happiest Place on Earth.
First, everyone in your party will need theme park admission. It sounds like you've got that covered. you and your wife have your Magic Key passes. And your grandparents already have their theme park tickets.
Next, everyone will need theme park reservations. I'm guessing your grandparents already booked park reservations as a part of their ticket purchase. But, just in case, they can verify their reservations from the Future Plans screen found on the ☰ feature menu of the Disneyland mobile app or from the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page online. As Magic Key holders, you'll also need to visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" page to book your park reservations.
Tony's Tip: You can access a shortcut of sorts to the "My Theme Park Reservations" page from the Disneyland mobile app. From the '+' menu at the bottom of the screen, select "Make a Park Reservation." Then tap the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button to open the park reservations page from a web browser on your phone.
It's OK if your park reservations aren't all together. As long as everyone has reservations for the same day and starting park, you are welcome to enter the theme park together. However, your tickets and passes do need to be linked to a common account if you wish to book
Lightning Lane return times together using the
Disney Genie+ service or when purchasing individual Lightning Lane return times. Similarly, if one or more members of your party are qualified for the
Disability Access Service (DAS), everyone in your party must be linked to the account used for DAS registration in order to make DAS attraction return time reservations together. You can link tickets or passes to another account from the Tickets and Passes screen of the Disneyland mobile app.
Guest Relations Cast Members help to determine the accommodations that are most appropriate for
Guests with disabilities. During an individual interview with a Guest, a Cast Member will discuss how to make time at the Disneyland Resort as magical as possible for everyone. The Disability Access Service (DAS) may be a good accommodation for Guests who have difficulty using a traditional attraction queue.
To find out if DAS is right for a member of your party, have that Guest visit a Guest member at any of the several Guest Relations locations throughout the theme parks. Alternatively, an interview to inquire about DAS may be done remotely between two and 30 days before arriving at the Disneyland Resort. Advanced registration for DAS is done by using a web browser on a computer or mobile device with a camera to access the
DAS planning and pre-arrival registration page between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time. After logging into the account with all of your tickets and passes linked, click on the "Request Live Chat" button to proceed.
I hope you and your grandparents have a magical time, Garrett. If there's anything else we can do for you as you get ready for your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation, remember: you've got a friend in me!
