My wife and I are returning home in December. We have the deluxe dining plan and in the past years, we have gone to the 8:30 show and were able to get Tier 1 seating. Is that still possible. The site says only Tier 2 or 3 with dining plans

Hi Jonathan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love that you are "returning home" in December! Not only do I feel like the Walt Disney World Resort is home as well, but I love the Christmas season at this magical destination. As a Christmas fanatic, I always have a countdown on my desk that lets me know how many days are left!

Since you have asked about an 8:30 p.m. show, I think you are referring to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. I checked with a Cast Member about what category is available for that showing on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, since the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue page states only Category 2 or 3, but the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan page states Category 1 is still an option for the 8:30 p.m. show if available on the date of your visit. And I have good news - Category 1 is still an option for the 8:30 p.m. show, subject to availability!

I hope this helps as you plan your December trip, Jonathan! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
