Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Will. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! And with
little ones in tow, no less. You're sure to have a magical stay!
Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of my family's favorite dining locations in the theme parks. When this unique restaurant offered Quick-Service breakfast and lunch menus, we were sure to visit multiple times in a weeklong vacation! Be Our Guest Restaurant is currently only offering Table-Service for lunch and dinner. Both mealtimes include a prix fixe, 3-course menu featuring French-inspired fare. My preschooler is a big fan of all-things Beauty and the Beast, so a dinner reservation for our trip a few weeks ago was a must-do. Two out of my three children are very picky eaters, so we knew that we were likely going to be paying for the
experience more so than the food. We were quite right! My little princess barely ate. My other picky eater certainly ate a bit more than she did, but he's 11-years old, so we had to pay the adult's price for him! All in all, it was the most expensive meal we sat down to on this most recent visit, but I can tell you that it was also one of the most memorable. My kids loved the atmosphere and seeing Beast as he greeted Guests. They also had so much fun exploring the West Wing and finding the enchanted rose! I will also say that our Server was incredibly accommodating and tried her very best to offer my picky-eaters some alternative sides (like french fries!).
To answer your question, you absolutely need to make a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant for everyone in your party. If either of your daughters is under the age of 3, they may share from your plate at no charge. Any children above the age of 3 will be charged the child's price for the meal, regardless of how little they eat.
If you're seeking a Beauty and the Beast inspired dining experience and Be Our Guest Restaurant doesn't seem to be worth the cost for your family at this time, I recommend stopping by
Gaston's Tavern in Fantasyland. Gaston's Tavern only offers a
snack menu, but stepping inside will certainly transport you to Belle's quiet village. I suggest ordering the warm cinnamon roll and LeFou's Brew to share. Oh! And don't forget to order The Grey Stuff Cupcake. It's delicious! Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!
I hope this was helpful, Will. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about the Walt Disney World Resort!
