    Hello. My wife recently retired and with her retirement money she is taking the entire family to Disney for a 6 day vacation. I would like to somehow say a special thank you from her family. Is there anything special that we could do for her? Suggestions?

    Hi, James!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    How nice of your wife to treat the whole family to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  She sounds like a very special lady who deserves to have a little extra pixie dust sprinkled over her vacation.  It is so thoughtful of you to want to do something special to thank your wife, and it would be my pleasure to offer you some suggestions as to how to do this.

    First of all, be sure to ask a Cast Member at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or any Guest Relations location for "I'm Celebrating" buttons for your family to wear.  Cast Members and other guests will see the buttons and know that your wife is celebrating her retirement.  She will love all of the well-wishes she receives, and you never know what type of magic may happen when you wear those buttons.

    I would also recommend taking a look at the celebrations and gifts available through Disney Floral & Gifts.  Perhaps you could arrange for something special to be delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room.  Would you like to treat your wife to a special dinner?  The Walt Disney World Resort has several amazing signature dining experiences to choose from.  You can even arrange to have a cake delivered to many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants to add a little extra magic to your meal.

    You may also want to explore the Enchanting Extras Collection, which consists of over 100 unique experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  From special access tours to pampering spa treatments to spectacular fireworks dessert parties, you're sure to find the perfect way to show your wife how much you appreciate her.

    James, I'm sure your family is going to make many magical memories on this vacation that you will want to relive for yEARs to come.  If you haven't already done so, you may want to think about purchasing Memory Maker for unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass Service pictures.  I'm sure that your wife would also love a framed photo of her family at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
