My wife and I recently purchased tickets for Disneyland. We both have the Disneyland app installed on our phones but are we are both using the same account and login. Both of our tickets show under tickets and passes. Should we both have our own account?

Hiya Ted! Thanks for visiting planDisney. You've brought us an excellent question and I'd be happy to help you get squared away with your Disneyland app question.

There is no right or wrong way to link your tickets as a family, whether it's sharing an account or having separate ones. Personally, I prefer to do it the way you have by linking both of your tickets to the same account and both being logged on to the same account. This is what we do in our family and it makes it much easier to select multiple tickets at once when making reservations and is especially helpful if you have purchased Disney Genie+ service. This allows you to make Lightning Lane selections for you both at the same time.

As you continue to plan your trip to Disneyland Resort be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and big announcements. Last week, Disney Parks Blog announced that nighttime spectaculars are coming back in April. They also recently released the Foodie Guide for Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival that kicks off March 4, 2022.

Ted, thanks again for stopping by planDisney! We can't wait for you and your wife to visit The Happiest Place on Earth. See you real soon!
