    My wife had a recent surgery that does not allow her to eat large amounts of food. We have reservations at several of your recommended restaurants. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Gary!
    I know exactly what you mean in your question because it seems like many of the adult meals in Walt Disney World are so huge! I had Bariatric Surgery (a Gastric Bypass) in October of 2011 and have been to Walt Disney World over 15 times since then. I have eaten at many restaurants in Walt Disney World during those trips. One of the options for your wife may be to order a children's meal which are typically smaller portions. Another idea for your wife would be to order a senior portion of a meal if they offer this or ask for a smaller portion of meat and any foods that your wife can eat without any difficulties. I typically will order just the meat (like grilled chicken breast) without the bun and then any vegetables or fruit that I want for my meal and I skip ordering dessert. Also buffet meals are a great option because you can choose choose what items that you want to eat from the buffet and you can also choose the portion size.  I have found that Disney is typically extremely accommodating for dining special needs or requests.
