My wife purchased 2 tickets for members of our family in March of 2020. The whole covid thing happened and stopped everything for a while. With the new covid surge happening can we still use the tickets this spring?

Hello there, Arlene! Welcome to planDisney! As Mary Poppins says, “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.” Our job here is to help Guests, like you, find the answers they have been looking for and have fun while doing so! So, I would love to help get that question of yours answered!

I’m so very happy to share with you that those previously purchased tickets will not go to waste! According to Disney eTicket terms & conditions, you can apply the price of any wholly unused, expired Disney ticket for the purchase of a new ticket at an equal or greater value. This can be done by visiting a Cast Member at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. Please note that currently, admission to either Disneyland Resort park requires a theme park ticket reservation. If you need assistance or have further questions about applying your expired ticket to the purchase of a new one, a call to Ticket Services may be able to assist you.

Once you have your new dates set, be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog to stay up-to-date on new announcements and get the insider scoop on any fun events or entertainment that may be avilable in the parks.

Arlene, I sure hope that you get to visit us here real soon at The Happiest Place on Earth where you can indulge in all the Mickey-shaped snacks your heart desires! Come on back and visit us again with any other Disneyland Resort planning questions you may have.

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
