My wife purchased tickets for Disneyland and DCA and we’re trying to link them with our app. We received a confirmation email for each, but did not receive etickets and were hoping for a way to find the ID numbers and any other information we’d need.

    Hey there, Matthew!

Happy to help you today! It looks like you are heading to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days, and I bet you are eager to get all of your plans in place. At planDisney, we love helping fellow Guests navigate their way to and through the magic, so let's take a look at your question!

Theme park tickets purchased directly on the Disneyland website will already be loaded into the account of the ticket purchaser. I always like to start here, just in case it's as easy as a few taps in the app to track them down. If this is the case for you, simply open the Disneyland app, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "My Tickets & Passes". This is where you will see any tickets already linked to your account, scrolling left if you have more than one. See anything in there? If you purchased tickets on the website and still can't see them, I recommend checking your email confirmation. Usually, this email will come from "Disneyland Reservations" if you want to do a quick search of your inbox. At the very top of the email, it will list your "Ticket Confirmation Number"—you can't miss it! With this number in hand, head back to the "My Tickets & Passes" section of the app, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner, select "Link Tickets & Passes", followed by "Type ID" to manually enter this number. From the email, you will also see a button to "Access Your eTickets" if you'd prefer to print out a hard copy. I'm hopeful we've successfully linked your tickets, and you can start planning your pixie-dusted visit!

If you purchased tickets through a third party, that's where my crystal ball gets a bit more cloudy. I'd recommend calling the seller and asking directly where you would find the ticket confirmation number so you can link the tickets to your app. You can also always call Disneyland Guest Services if you are still having issues. They can see further into your account to assist!

Matthew, I sure hope this has been helpful! This summer is such a great time to be in the parks, everything feels celebratory in honor of the 70th Anniversary! Part of what I love most about Disneyland is the charm and nostalgia. You can just picture Walt walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with his big dreams and ideas. Now, you can actually see him at the newest attraction, Walt Disney—A Magical Life, which debuted just last week! If you'd like to hear from him yourself, this attraction has a Virtual Queue instead of a traditional standby line. When you open the app, scroll down on the main page to see the section for Virtual Queues, and tap the "Join Virtual Queue" button for instructions. You'll see the time that the queue opens each day, and you'll want to have your fast fingers ready, as many guests are eager to see this brand new offering!

I'm wishing you a magical visit, Matthew! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
