My wife and I plus our Infant want to book two nights in a resort, but then we'd just like a single park ticket each, as opposed to two park tickets each. It seems to only allow 2 per adult in our case, or else 0. Is one ticket each an option?

    Hi Matthew!

Oh boy!  A vacation with your little one?  How exciting! I’m so happy you brought your question to us here at planDisney!  As a mom of three, I’ve watched my boys grow up enjoying the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.  Let’s chat about how you can bibbidi-bobbidi-book a resort room and tickets for a vacation that I hope will be practically perfect in every way!

Matthew, when booking a vacation package (room and tickets purchased together), there is a minimum 2-day ticket required.  But as my friends Timon and Pumbaa would say, Hakuna Matata!  You can make a room-only reservation for two nights and then add a 1-day park ticket for both you and your wife in a separate purchase.  Room-only reservations don't receive Magical Extras, but you can enjoy all of the great benefits extended to Resort Guests, such as Early Theme Park Entry, advanced purchase window for Lightning Lane passes, and complimentary parking and resort transportation throughout your stay. . .just to name a few!

If this is your first visit to Walt Disney World with your little Mouseketeer, you'll be happy to know that Disney makes traveling with infants and toddlers easy!  You can request a portable crib/playard for your resort room, and highchairs are readily available at dining locations.  Additionally, strollers can be rented for use in the theme parks, but, depending on the age of your little one, they may be more comfortable using a stroller you bring from home.  If you decide to travel with a personal stroller, you'll want to review the property rules to ensure your stroller meets the stated requirements.  Also, don't forget that Baby Care Centers are available in each of the four theme parks.  We've taken advantage of these quieter spaces to nurse, pump, and feed over the years, as well as to purchase a few baby essentials when we've run short of food or diapers in the parks.  My panelist pals, Brent and Jennifer, can take you on a video tour of each of these in the Ultimate Guide to the Baby Care Centers.

I hope this information has been helpful, Matthew, and that you enjoy making many magical memories with your family!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
