    My wife and I are plannning our first family visit to WDW in June with our 1 yr old son. What would you recommend for hotel being its our first time and making it most convienent for travel with w 1 yr old? We are considering the contemporary resort.

    Hi George!  I think traveling with a one year old and having the opportunity to stay at one of the monorail loop resorts will be very convenient for you.  The Contemporary is one of these resorts as well as the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian.  You most likely will be spending most of your time at the Magic Kingdom with a one year old.  You can reach this park from any of these resorts via boat or monorail.  Most other Disney resorts would require bus transportation.

    The Deluxe resorts offer wonderful amenities with great pools and recreation opportunities.  The rooms tend to be slightly larger which is always nice when traveling with young children.  I prefer the pools at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian but as far as proximity convenience you can't go wrong with any of the three.
