My wife and I are planning a visit to Disneyland at the end of may. We are going to get 5 day tickets. We would like to take our niece for one day. Can we get her ticket at the same rate as our 5 day tickets?

    Hi Drew!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney and sending your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

Awww, this sounds like a super fun visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! (Are you looking to adopt a second niece, one in her 30's?) I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to check inside your My Disneyland Account to see which Disneyland Theme Park Admission Tickets you and your wife currently hold, but I think your best bet will be to buy your niece a Child's 1-Day ticket. If you have a Vacation Package that combines a play and a stay, either at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel, adding your niece to the package reservation would auto-magically add a 5-day ticket for her as well. However, no matter where you're staying or if you have a vacation package or theme park admission tickets purchased separately from Disney or elsewhere, you can purchase a child's ticket on its own through the theme park admission ticket purchase portal and you'll be good to go!

One thing that I wanted to add is that you'll want to be sure to make this purchase sooner rather than later as every guest will need to also have a Park Pass Reservation in addition to a theme park ticket. Park Pass Reservations essentially tell Mickey which park you're going to play in on what day, or if you have Park Hopper tickets Park Pass Reservations will notate which park you're going to start your day in before hopping privileges start at 1:00 PM. We've seen Park Pass Reservations start to book solid in the 3 weeks leading up to upcoming Disney Days, so you'll want to purchase her ticket and make these plans ASAP. (In fact, hEARs the Park Pass Reservation calendar.)

Thank you again so much for stopping by, Drew! I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days! Be sure to check out the official planDisney Instagram account for even more Disneyland Resort tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
