Hi, my wife and I are planning a vacation dec 10-17 with our 3 sons (8, 3 and 2) and we´re not sure where to stay. We want a resort that be confortable and afordable. Any sugestions???

    Hi Juan!

You've picked a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World! It just so happens to be my favorite time of year to visit.

Value and Moderate resorts are great and affordable options for accommodations. Pop Century, Port Orleans French Quarter, and Coronado Springs Resort are a few of my top picks in these categories. They happen to be great resorts for traveling with little ones because the details throughout capture their attention. Also, Pop Century and Port Orleans FQ happen to have especially convenient ease of bus transportation use; although Pop Century is farthest from Magic Kingdom. At Port Orleans FQ, you can take a boat over to Downtown Disney. Coronado Springs is a large resort, and features an inside bus shuttle system to help guests get to and from within the resort. Coronado Springs also features two queen beds as opposed to two double beds (which you'll find at the rest of the Value and Moderate resort rooms). If you plan to use the heated pools with your family, it might help to know that Port Orleans FQ and Coronado Springs feature themed pools with a water slide.

Best of all, all these Disney resorts will allow you to take advantage of Disney transportation, Extra Magic Hours, and even delivery of park purchases to your room if you'd like. Hope this helps. Come back to the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
