    My wife and I are planning a trip to WDW at Halloween. We have two children, 3 years old and 10 months old, and are considering staying at either the Animal Kingdom Villas or the Wilderness Lodge Villas. Which in your opinion is the best for us?

    In my opinion, it's a toss-up as theming at both resorts is top-notch.

    If you want to pay for the upgrade for the Savannah View, the Animal Kingdom Lodge would be a solid choice because of the animals.  However, if you're comparing a standard room at one to the other, I'd go with the Wilderness Lodge. The boat ride from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom is an attraction in itself.  Animal Kingdom only offers bus transportation to the parks.  In addition, the geyser at the Wilderness Lodge pools makes it one of the top pools on property, not to mention the water pageant at night.
