my wife and I are planning a trip for my daughters sweet 16 with 3 of her friends can you tell me which resort will be the best for us

    Hi Leon,

How wonderful to take your daughter and her friends to Walt Disney World to celebrate your daughter's sixteenth birthday! It sounds to me like you are looking for accommodations for six people. There are a variety of options for you. You could, of course, get two traditional hotel rooms; however, let me give you some options where your entire party of six could stay in one accommodation - with some additional bonuses as well!

If your daughter and her friends enjoy a camping feeling, consider The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These sleep six people - four in a bedroom and two in the living area. Each cabin has a full kitchen and a grill. There is only one bathroom - which might be an issue with so many teenage girls! Another option is a family suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Each of these also sleep six people between a bedroom and living area. They each have a kitchenette. The additional bonus here is that there are two bathrooms!

Finally, you might consider a two-bedroom villa at a Disney Vacation Club Resort. These will give you ample space, with a living area, two bedrooms, at least two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer! These are available at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House and Kidani Village, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I know that this is a lot of options, Leon. What you ultimately choose will depend on which you think offers the best functionality for your party, as well as which theme appeals the most to you. I would love to help you plan more, but I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
