Hi Christopher!
We are so glad you stopped by planDisney today! What fun ages your kids are...perfect for a Walt Disney World vacation! Make sure to take tons of photos during your adventures. I treasure every photo from our Disney trips over the years...they are like measuring sticks that have shown me just how much my kids have grown!
Yes, your 3-year-old will need park tickets. But kids under the age of 3 do not need them, so your 2-year-old gets in free! Just one of the many perks for traveling with the under 3 year old set!
Here’s how the Disney Park Pass system works: select which park you want to visit every day of your vacation and make reservations for one park each day using the
Disney Park Pass system. On the
Walt Disney World website, after logging into your
My Disney Experience account, go to “My Plans” and then scroll down to the Disney Park Pass reservations tab. Here is where you can buy tickets or if you already have tickets linked on your account, you can proceed to making your Disney Park Pass reservations. Then you simply choose what date and theme park for every day of your vacation.
Disney Park Passes are limited in number and subject to availability, so Guests should first check the
Availability Calendar to see which parks have Disney Park Pass reservations open. If the date is colored green on the availability calendar, then all the theme parks are available. If a date changes to yellow, then that means at least one park has reached its capacity.
Since you will not have to purchase a ticket for your kiddo who is 3, they likewise will not need a Disney Park Pass. They will simply be admitted when the rest of you go to the turnstiles and use your tickets for entry.
You are always welcome here at planDisney-no ticket necessary! So come back anytime and send us more questions as you make those magical vacation plans. Have a fabulous time making memories and having fun with your family!
