My wife and I are planning to run the 2013 half marathon, but we have a cruise planned on the Fantasy which happens to depart the same day. How long is the wrap up after the race? Do you see any issues with making the 3:45 PM all aboard?

Hi Ross!  Wow!  A cruise after a half marathon sounds like a great idea!
The half marathon starts around 5:30 a.m.  It departs in different corrals, so you will start sometime before 6:30.  I am not sure how long it will take you, but I would think that 10 a.m. would be the latest you would be done.  The only thing you will definitely want to do after the race is cool down, grab some snacks, and of course, get your medal!  You can easily be on the road within 30 minutes of your finish.  I ran the Princess Half Marathon a couple of weeks ago.  The race began at 5:45.  I finished in about 2:40, cooled down, went back to the room and showered, ate lunch at Downtown Disney, and then drove to Fort Myers (about 3 hours away) and made it there by 5 P.M.
I think you and your wife will have plenty of time.  You may be a little tired, but I can't think of a better way to spend your post-race recovery days!
Let me know if I can help you plan in any other way!
