My wife and I are planning to go o Disney by the end of this year and will like o be on new years eve night show plus go to 2 different parks in 2 different days. We have no hotel or plain tickets yet

Hello there and welcome to planDisney!

If there's any time of the year to plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort and feel surrounded by thousands of your newest Disney-loving pals, it's definitely in the day leading up to New Year's Eve! As the theme parks continue to celebrate the holidays leading up to Christmas I've observed more and more folks and families coming in to spread the holiday cheer in increasing numbers leading up to what is in my opinion, the most popular night of every year - the 31st of December. As long as you're ready to pack an extra bit of patience and perhaps some additional goodwill to your fellow revelers as you bunch up together that evening, I've got some tips to help you and your wife prepare:

    • I highly recommend booking your Disney Resort Hotel stay sooner than later, especially as I've found it more challenging with the competition for available rooms with so many fellow guests wanting to spend their holidays by the Most Magical Place on Earth.
    • If you're looking to celebrate the most popular way with just two days to visit, many folks choose to head to Magic Kingdom Park on the evening of the 30th where they can often enjoy the fireworks there before spending the following day (and evening) at EPCOT!

Ideally you'll want to ensure that you secure your flights and accommodations earlier, especially with the way that I've personally experienced the pricing for these to shoot remarkably high as the months pass. In my personal opinion, heading to the theme parks for these two days might not be something I would necessarily recommend to First-Timers or to anyone looking for a relaxing or laid-back experience, so if you and your wife are looking to enjoy attractions without a long wait I might aim for another time of the year. If your goals are truly just to enjoy the party and take it all in with thousands upon thousands of fellow revelers, I hope you manage your expectations, secure a great viewing spot and enjoy your evenings to the fullest!

Wishing you all the best on your quest to welcome 2025 in style!
